Artist Profile

I received my first set of Windsor acrylic paints and paintbrushes for my 5th birthday and it has been a passion of mine ever since.  I spent most of my childhood and early youth focused on honing my skills in acrylic landscape photorealism.

As I matured, I found myself experimenting with other styles of painting as well as other mediums.  I tried my hand at impressionism and abstracts, and experimented with oils and watercolours, but would always come back to acrylics and photorealism.  

​

After an almost 8 year hiatus from creating art, to complete my Engineering degree and begin my career, I had the unique opportunity in 2010 to visit Austria for almost a month.  It was on this trip when my love for painting was completely re-ignited.  Everywhere I looked, there were beautiful landscapes just waiting to be painted.  It was also on this trip that I spent a day in Venice, Italy, where I discovered new interests in glass work and jewelry making and the place from where the inspiration for my business name came.

Ten years after my trip to Austria, I discovered a new love of working with resin.  This medium has allowed me to explore a whole new side of my creativity in the abstract form as well as capture the landscapes I love in a new and unique way.
